Shelley's Tarot Reading Room

To those of you who are interested about who I am, here is the long and short of it.  Specifically for those though, who if you are anything like me, when it comes to opening up ourselves spiritually to another person, would want to know my background and what I currently believe in!

 

This is a free will universe and therefore it is paramount that in everything we do, we know what it is that we are allowing or not allowing into our lives.  I fully understand and respect that, hence the reason why I am giving you my client, the knowledge of who I am.

 

I was brought up initially in the Two by Two sect up until the age of 13, where suddenly and with no warning, my parents went from one end of the Christian spectrum to the other and chose to become charismatics.  Due to this upbringing, it caused me to become extremely conservative in my personality and absolute fundamentalist in my Christian beliefs.

 

Been in the Charismatic movement from the age of 13 to the age of 40, had a huge impact on my life, in that the supernatural was not something strange or unusual in any way in my life.  Seeing people talk in tongues, or fall to the ground slain in the spirit and sometimes laughing in ecstasy or other times been glued to the floor for hours, was not weird but pretty normal for me!  In fact, I can say quite categorically that it was this very interactive communion with God and personal relationship that I had with Him, that gave me a very firm foundation as to the reality of energy and our interaction with it.  I suppose many of my Hindu friends who have experienced the reality of Kundalini and the Kabbalistic Jew who has experienced the power of Chai, or the Chinese who work with Chi know exactly the power of the universal energy and how it affects our lives in very tangible ways, can then understand the point from where I am coming from.

 

Unfortunately all the religions of the world, use these effects of the universal energy called by many names, as proof that their particular brand of religious understanding is the way, the truth and the life.  For many years I bought into that ideology, until in 2006, when I discovered to my horror that I had a brain tumor!

 

In fact, my deepest spiritual searching and journeying began just prior to that discovery, but in the months after my recovery from my op in the miraculous intervention and removal of that tumor, I had plenty of time to think and ponder!

 

It was all this gathering of information over many years, learning to read Hebrew and understand the nuances and poetry of the language that began to make me realize that many of the fundamental doctrines that I had clung to were simply a grave misunderstanding of the poetry of the language that I had been reading in the very unromantic language of English, which in no way carried across the beauty of the scriptures I was reading.

 

This lead me down the road from leaving the Charismatic movement to becoming heavily involved in the Hebrew Roots movement, to then realizing that the origins of Christianity was simply a Pauline Doctrine and finally one day when the lights went on and I discovered to my utter astonishment that the whole of the new testament was simply based on astrotheology and was actually a Roman Catholic invention using the character of Paul to market it and bring about victory over the Jewish Rebels who were determined that a Jewish Messiah was the ultimate end and victory to the Roman struggle over their homeland.  Whether Paul was a person in the actual flesh or pseudonym is very much debatable and another topic all on its own and is not within the scope of this or my sister website.

 

To carry on my story!  In between that final outcome of my spiritual search was my long and arduous road of becoming a righteous gentile (a gentile practicing Judaism) while other members of my family followed the path of trying to convert to Judaism.  For those of you who are interested, I am currently building a sister website with my own personal insights into why for me Jesus is not, the way, the truth and the life.  On that site you will be able to explore my very own personal studies and conclusions that left me without a shadow of doubt that I was quite sane in my choice to leave the Christian faith, and walk away completely without fear of going to hell and damnation.  But please only read that site if you are already questioning your faith.  I don't believe in pulling out rugs from beneath people's regligious feet.

 

So the short of it is, that today, if I am to put myself into a box (for all people like boxes), I suppose you can call me new age in my beliefs.  However, I pull from all faiths, because each religion in the world has a beautiful kernel of truth locked away in it that resonates and reveals the real truth in this amazing, fascinating universe we live in.  It's because I believe that all faiths have beauty and truth, though my path may be different from yours, that I fully respect and honour the spiritual path of each and every client that comes my way!

 

I never stop learning, researching and never stop coming across the most amazing pearls of great wisdom locked away in the most unlikely of places.  Even the Sufi has some beautiful eternal truths to be gathered and tasted like honey dripping from its cone!

 

For me, Tarot is a beautiful method for allowing our very own spirits to access the deepest truths about ourselves and reveal them in a way that illuminates and brings peace to the seeker!  Unlike the more conventional method of seeking the Lord, and waiting for peace as to the yay, or nay of a particular query, for many who choose this path, the Tarot brings astonishing clarity.

 

This is why I do Tarot.  Not as some magical parlor trick game to woo woo us back to sleep, or make us feel all good about ourselves, but to really help us grow into the people we are meant to be and help us see our deepest fears and hopes.

 

No, the Tarot is not a game, neither is it in my opinion, an invention of the devil, but that the Tarot is a gift of divination given to mankind to reveal exactly what we are co creating for ourselves in this universe without our even realizing it.

 

We are very powerful angelic beings incarnating in this world for very specific lessons for our own lives and for the corporate soul of mankind itself.  We as a species have forgotten who we are and exactly what it is that is living within this human shell we call a body.  It is not just simply the spirit you call (insert your name here).  You are far, far more than that!

 

Been the powerful beings that we are, we create good, or bad in our lives whether we know or understand the principals of co creating.  The system works.  Unfortunately, from birth mankind is programmed to work the system through the emotion of fear.

 

The Tarot is an amazing tool for making us realize what it is we are actually creating for ourselves.  When we see future predictions, realize it is you dear Client that is the author of that future.  If you don’t like what the cards reveal, the wonderful thing is that you have the power to change the future into the very one you want and dream about!!!!

 

So don’t you think its time, to find out and reveal what it is you are creating for your future.  Are you without knowing it, creating a future of doom and gloom or are you with intention creating the future of your dreams.
